The Great Art Escape Returns to the Toledo Museum of Art Dec. 26–Jan. 3

The Toledo Museum of Art comes alive during its annual winter celebration The Great Art Escape, themed this year around dance. Bring family and friends to experience the free performances and art activities that fill the galleries, Glass Pavilion and Peristyle Dec. 26–Jan. 3.

The 2015 Great Art Escape is sponsored in part by Taylor Cadillac and by members of the Museum. 

A Celebration of Dance

Inspired by the current exhibitions Degas and the Dance and The Rise of Sneaker Culture, a highlight this year will be a series of live dance performances in the galleries and in the Peristyle. A variety of genres will be represented, including ballet, swing, Mexican folk, Irish and Indian dancing.

Free Family Fun

Not only can visitors enjoy free dance performances, visitors can also draw in the galleries, listen to storytelling in the Great Gallery, or take in an organ concert by visiting musicians in Gallery 24 during this eight-day extravaganza.
