March Northwest Ohio Jobs Update

An abundance of jobs are available in the 17 county Toledo Region in a variety of industries. According to data from The Conference Board, 15,167 job openings were posted in this area online in March 2016.

Nearly 60% of jobs posted were within the Middle – Upper Middle Income salary bracket ($30K-$79k). Among the most sought after occupations were Registered Nurses, Industrial Engineers, and Medical and Health Services Managers.

Mercy Health was the number one hiring employer, with 508 ads posted during the reporting period. Blanchard Valley Health System, Roehl, and HCR ManorCare all exceeded 150 posted ads.
