ProMedica Toledo Hospital Named Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospital

The ProMedica Toledo Hospital has been named a Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospital by Truven Health Analytics, an IBM ® Company, making it a benchmark hospital. Toledo Hospital received this designation based on a study that compared cardiovascular re-admission rates, inpatient survival rates, patient complication numbers, and the length of patient hospital stays.

The findings of this year’s Truven Health 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals reported that if all cardiovascular hospitals performed at the level of 2017 study winners, approximately 9,100 additional lives and $1.4 billion could be saved, and more than 6,100 additional bypass and angioplasty patients could be complication-free.
