Toledo Ranked in Top Tier for LGBTQ Inclusiveness

The Human Rights Campaign has ranked Toledo in the top tier for LGBTQ inclusiveness in their 2016 Municipal Equality Index. For the second year in a row, Toledo has increased its score, showing  a 31% increase since the 2014 report. The city received perfect marks in the categories of Non-Discrimination Laws, Law Enforcement, and Relationship with the LGBTQ Community. These scores and increases demonstrate Toledo’s willingness and commitment to support the LGBTQ community who lives and works in Northwest Ohio. Toledo’s score ranks higher than four of the eight Ohio cities listed in the report.
